Jezersko offers many options for active winter holidays for families. You can use this program as a suggestion of your winter holidays on Šenk's homestead. For the winter 2023/24 we have a special action - you get 3 overnight for the price of 2 during the weekdays (from Tuesday till Friday).
- Arrange your kids a lesson with ski instructor on a small ski slope, while you go for a round on cross-country skis
- You can spend the evening on the ice rink or go for a night sledding
- Complete the experience with
pampering in the wellness center and organic home-made delicacies
Day 1 (Tuesday): Šenk's homestead - Park Jezersko (sledding) - Šenk's homestead.
Afternoon arrival at Šenk's homestead, where we kindly welcome you. Accommodation in a room or apartment. You can spend your afternoon on an organised sleeding (reservation is needed). The basic program inclueds 3 rides up the hill with van. After sledding, enjoy tea and mulled wine in Park Jezersko bar and than return to Šenk's homestead. You are welcome to join us on a delicious 4-course dinner from local ingredients, which we grow ourselves on our farm. Overnight.
Day 2 (Wednesday): Šenk's homestead– walk around Jezersko – Šenk's homestead.
If you want, we can prepair breakfast (breakfast is included in roomprice, but not in a price of apartment) for you at Šenk's homestead. Then you can go for a walk around Raven with a wonderful view of the Kamnik - Savinja Alps. You cross the yard and afteryo pass the campsite, turn left on the macadam road towards the Jenk farm. If you are interested, ask for the keys at the farm and visit the ethnological museum in the Jenkova barracks. The route continues past the Kropivnik farm to Jezersko Park, and through Sibiria to Planšar lake. From there you continue your journey to the main road and walk along the road to Jezerska slatina, try it and return via church of St. Andrew back to Šenk's homestead. You can spend the afternoon at the skating rink at Planšarsko lake. If you don't have your own equipment, you can also borrow it there. Return to Šenk's homestead. Overnight.
Day 3 (Thursday): Šenk's homestead - Park Jezersko - Šenk's homesatead.
A day on the farm begins with the rooster crowing, which wakes you up in a calm atmosphere. If you wish, we prepare breakfast for you, and then you drive to Park Jezersko, where you leave the children in the safe hands of a ski instructor, with whom they will learn new skiing skills (the park also offers equipment rental for both - alpine skiing and cross-country skiing). If the snow conditions are good you have 17 kilometres of terrains where you can enjoy cross - country skiing. Afternoon return to Šenk's homestead. If desired, dinner at Šenka's homestead. Would you like to spend evening in sauna and hot tub?
Day 4 (Friday): Šenkova homestead - Park Jezersko - departure home.
One last morning at Šenk's homestead. Drive to Park Jezersko, where you can once again enjoy a day of skiing, cross-country skiing or go hiking with snowshoes. Goodbye Jezersko!
